Chanava is located E of Rimavska Sobota. The urban hillside, part of a municipal cemetery, has no sign or marker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via a fence and a locking gate. Three 20th century marble and granite tombstones in the cemetery, in original locations, are flat shaped and finely smoothed and inscribed stones with Hebrew inscriptions. Used only as a Jewish cemetery, adjacent properties are residential and cemetery. Private visitors stop rarely. Individuals occasionally clean or clear cemetery. No threats.
